I know many artists struggle with framing their artwork. Frames can be very expensive and it can be a big investment to frame several pieces before a single painting has been sold. But you can't send your work to galleries and exhibitions without frames, so you're forced to make that investment. Another problem is getting your paintings back from a gallery or exhibition and the frame is damaged. So now you must invest more money to have the frame repaired, or toss the frame and purchase another one. For those very reasons, I've put together an easy-to-understand DVD to help artists make or repair their own frames. I've demonstrated each step to make it easy to follow so you'll have the knowledge you need to complete a frame from start to finish.In this DVD I take you through the process of putting together a frame with a metal leaf finish. This video explains the steps and provides a materials and resource list so the artist can complete or repair a frame.
